Format & Time Control

• Five‑round Swiss system
• Classical time control: 60 minutes + 30‑second increment per move
•  

Sections & Eligibility

• Open (all ratings welcome)
• Under‑1800, Under‑1400, Under‑1000 sections
• Special “Rising Stars” category for players under 14
•  

Schedule

• Day 1 (Saturday): Rounds 1–3 at 10 AM, 2 PM, and 6 PM
• Day 2 (Sunday): Rounds 4–5 at 10 AM and 2 PM
• Optional Blitz & Rapid fun tournaments on Sunday evening

• Trophies for the top three finishers in each section
• Medals for outstanding performances (best upset, best junior, best veteran)
